  Desert Island Jazz

Classic and contemporary straight-ahead jazz spanning 1950 to the present, hosted by Dave May.  Desert Island Jazz features the jazz giants from Adderley to Zawinul, plus up-and-coming talent deserving wider recognition.

Desert Island Jazz is heard on listener-supported, non-commercial WHFC 91.1 FM in Bel Air, Maryland, Tuesdays from 6 - 9 pm and Saturdays from
5 - 7 pm.  The WHFC broadcast area covers Harford County and the northern Chesapeake Bay region, including portions of Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Desert Island Jazz can now be heard from 12 to 3 PM Eastern on Sundays online from Pure Jazz Radio in New York City, with an encore presentation on the following Saturdays.
